Our Foundations Course is the fastest, most effective way to acquire the skills and knowledge required to become successful in the rewarding field of hairdressing. Our course is designed for those with a burning desire to be a hairdresser. This 6-month, 1000-hour course provides everything you need to transition into a successful career in hairdressing.

Unlike other basic hair training programs, every hour of our Foundations Course is spent in active instruction or practicing your new skills on pre-booked models. There is no waiting in the school's salon in the hope that models will come in.

We restrict our enrollment to ensure a

small class size. Our curriculum is structured to promote a higher skill level for our students. Through a combination

of classroom work, lectures and actually working on hair you will learn and perfect all aspects of the art of hairdressing. And you will be learning it from the leading name in hair, Suki’s. And remember, unlike other schools, models are pre-booked so there is no wasted time sitting in the school salon waiting for a client to come through the door.

Suki's Academy participates in a financial program to assist students who need funds to attend school. Eligible students may apply for loans and grants through the British Columbia Student Assistance Program.
