Yes, there is a Suki. Japanese by birth, Suki began her career in Beverly Hills, studied with Vidal Sassoon in London, and in 1972 opened her first salon in Vancouver. Suki quickly established a name for herself and the salon by creating a fashionable, avant-garde image for her company and its clients. The company has now grown from the original five-chair salon to four salons a spa and the Suki’s Academy. The company now employs almost 200 staff. A member of Intercoiffure, the industry’s most prestigious association, Suki is recognized internationally for the educational and artistic excellence her company has become known for. Through her passion and vision she created a company that is known and revered worldwide.
