CUTTING CLASSES
In all of Suki's cutting courses, you will learn the principles of precision cutting, classic cutting techniques and shapes, styling tips and tricks, and how to design, cut and finish the latest hairstyles. These courses are suitable for stylists at any level of experience.

CLASSIC CUTTING:
BOBS, SHORT & LONG HAIR
Suki's Classic Cutting Course provides the very best foundation for boosting your skills and knowledge, and will give you the confidence to expand and develop your talents. Students will be immersed in hands-on practical work sessions focussed on classic precision cutting theory which can be incorporated into a stylist's daily work and become the core of their artistry throughout their career.
Starting January 21st, 2024, our Classic Cutting Classes will run three days a week (Sunday - Tuesday) for 10 weeks at our South Granville salon. Each week will have a different focus, and you can either take the entire program or choose specific classes that suit you best.

UPDOS
Suki's Upstyle Course will help you create classic and unique updos ideal for special occasions like weddings, graduations, celebrations, seasonal events or the red carpet! Students will learn how to analyze hair texture, the proper use of their tools, how to prepare and set the hair, how to create fullness on finer/shorter hair and handle thick hair, tips for adding details and uniqueness to any updo, styling shortcuts for quicker updos, how to check for balance and symmetry, and how to create beautiful, suitable shapes that last for hours!

Is there a specific haircut you have always wanted to learn how to do? Have you ever struggled to create a client’s dream haircut from a photo they show you? If so, our Salon Creative class is the perfect course for you! In this 2 day-intensive class, you will learn how to recreate any look for your clients!
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
- Haircut trends for 2024
- Consultation tips to help you communicate clearly
- How to identify the techniques and shapes used in any haircut
- How to customize any look for your individual guest
- Effective sectioning patterns for all designs
- Precision cutting and freehand (texturizing and thinning) cutting techniques
- Special focus on how to style the cut in the most modern way so your cuts are always shown at their best!
- How to capture images for your social media.
We also run specialized cutting classes throughout the year, including:
BARBERING FUNDAMENTALS
Suki's Barbering Course offers hands-on training to help you master the fundamentals and personalize men's styles. Students will learn how to work with clippers, create a variety of fades, and design, cut, and style all textures of hair.
CREATIVE CUTTING
Suki's Creative Cutting Course will elevate your day to day salon work to a whole new level. This class is for stylists who are looking to learn the latest trends, gain inspiration and want to master exciting new looks to bring back to their clients.
RAZOR CUTTING
Suki's Razor Cutting Course will cover the foundations of proper razor technique, and how to apply these principles to classic and precision cutting. We will modernize classic haircuts with numerous texturizing techniques, while maintaining structure and shape throughout the design. We will also focus on safety and the "do's and don'ts" of razor cutting.
